1987

ISP Therapeutic founded

ISP Therapeutic Fostering established in Kent and became the first IFA in the UK.

Child-centre approach

A holistic, child-centred approach allowed ISP carers to provide homes to some of our most vulnerable children.

ISP school established

Providing specialist education to nearly 40 children with additional educational and emotional needs.

1993

Clifford House established

Clifford House opened a centre in Bromsgrove, developing a strong regional reputation for quality care.

1996

Fosterplus founded

Fosterplus opens its first fostering centre in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. The service now has 4 local centres across England and have a strong reputation for quality and their commitment to long term placements.

Orange Grove established

Orange Grove Fostering established with their first centre in Malvern, later expanding to 8 centres across England, from Yorkshire to Brighton.

2000

Fosterplus Scotland established

Fosterplus opens its first centre in Edinburgh. Today, Fosterplus Scotland have 5 local centres in Ayr, Dundee, Edinburgh, Hamilton and Paisley.

2012

Clifford House

Joins the Partnerships in Children’s Services group.

2016

Orange Grove

Joins the Partnerships in Children’s Services group.

22 years with Clifford House

Our Clifford House Registered Manager celebrates 22 years with the agency and continues to take the service forward.

2017

30 years of therapeutic fostering

ISP celebrates 30 years of fostering and have expanded to 15 local offices in Kent, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Midlands, Sussex and London.

Support +2,300 children

Combined, we support over 2,300 carers and children.

We are a family of individual fostering agencies who, through local autonomy, can thrive to deliver the best care services possible with the support of centralised, integrated and specialist business services.
