Salary: £19,000
Benefits: 25 days’ holiday + 8 days’ Bank Holiday and company pension

The successful candidate will process and coordinate requests for placements from Local Authorities for looked after children to be matched and placed with foster carers within the PICS Group.

It is essential that candidates have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, and work well within a team environment. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a solid administrative and customer services focused background with clear personal, academic or professional interest and experience of the children’s services sector.

MAIN DUTIES

To provide accurate and timely management accounts for designated companies within the group, to understand those accounts and to provide management information and reports.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts on a timely basis
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Monthly Journals
  • Maintain fixed asset
  • Posting of cash receipts
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Variance analysis and commentary
  • Daily cash monitoring & cash flow forecasting
  • Assisting in budget & reforecast process
  • Producing reports as requested by Managers and providing financial support
  • Occasional travel within UK
  • Maintain a professional relationship with clients and colleagues
  • Liaise with other teams and account managers to ensure smooth workflow across all areas and to provide assistance where necessary
  • Other Ad-hoc accounting duties
  • Any other duties as directed

We are recruiting for nationwide Independent Social Workers and Form F Assessors to work with one of our Independent Fostering Agencies.

The agency is a well-established, independent fostering provider, committed to promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in placement.

With the help and commitment of their foster carers, they strive to provide essential foundations for life to over 400 vulnerable children and young people. Together, they open up opportunities for them now and in the future, to learn and to achieve, improving their chances for educational attainment, stability, happiness and health.

The agency are currently looking for qualified, suitably experienced Independent Social Workers to undertake a variety of assessments which include Form F, Annual Home Reviews and Initial Visits.
